Sitting on the edge of a bathtub in her hotel room was none other than Fiona, Just Fiona. She looked feverishly ahead as she mashed buttons on an X-Box One controller.
FIONA:
"Don't die...don't die, don't frickin die!"
More button mashing followed before she let out a cheer and tossed her controller. It hit the empty inside of the bathtub hard as Fiona's bright eyes moved down to look at it before she slowly glanced back up.
FIONA:
"Ooops, did I do that?"
A devilish-esque grin crossed her face.
FIONA:
"Sorry, I set up this super duper cool camera, and then got lost in my game. I was playing GTA-V. Not my ex boyfriend, but the actual game where you kill people, steal cars, and somehow become a hero. Isn't that what GWD is all about, becoming a hero?"
Fiona uploaded a picture to Twitter before hanging her legs into the bathtub as she sat on the edge of it.
FIONA:
"Someone smart once said, 'you're only as good as your last match'. Now, don't ask me who said it, but they had to be smart, because that's a quote that will never get old. That quote is like the exact opposite of Chris Crippler, but hey, I'm not hating. I like old people, you guys are funny and usually abnormally cranky. Anywho, where was I? Oh yeah, you're only as good as your last match. Let's look at our last matches here, shall we?
Fiona reached down with her feet and picked her X-Box controller back up. She hit a few buttons and went online, streaming the end of the Chris Crippler/Mark Storm match.
FIONA:
"You lost, a helluva match, but you walked out title-less, belt-less, no shiny accessories, and not only that, but Mark Storm embarrassed you. I was blushing for you honestly, dude-o. And me? I wrestled Daddy's little Gold standard, and I walked out a winner. So, if we're going by last matches alone, I'd have to say I'm the favorite here!"
Fiona switched from the end of the Storm/Crippler match to the end of her match against the debuting Adi Gold.
FIONA:
"When I first started here, sure, I could see why I was viewed as a pretty face, I mean, if you wanna call me that, some people say I have a face only my mother could love. ANYWHO..."
She grinned again, clearly having fun.
FIONA:
"I think I've proven I'm not just a pretty face. When GTA left, I'm sure a lot of people probably thought that I would not only lose more matches, but also my way, but the funny thing is, with him gone, I'm undefeated, a perfect one win and zero losses! I have more wins than Britney Anders! Yay!"
She gave a thumbs up to the camera.
FIONA:
"Chris Crippler will easily be the biggest challenge of my young career, but hey, I look at it like this. Not only do I have the opportunity to learn from such a storied veteran, but I also have the opportunity to potentially beat him, and place myself higher in the rankings of the Global Wrestling Division! This isn't about heroes, villains, championships, or Gold standards, this is about a happy go lucky blonde who enjoys GTA V, not GTA V, but the game...okay, now I'm confusing even myself. This is about me, my chance to show the world that I can hang with someone who has been wrestling since JFK was president, you know when the president was actually cool and not an orange? And this is my chance to show that I'm only getting better with each passing match."
She cleared her throat.
FIONA:
"Chris Crippler, you can travel back from Japan, or wherever else you are. Get back to LA, and let's dance tomorrow. Not literally dance, but dance in the ring, and when we dance, you can bring your old tricks, and I'll show you a new move or two. I bet I CAN teach an old dog new tricks."
She kicked the controller from her feet, into the air, catching it in her hands.
FIONA:
"GAME OVER!"
