She was scouted at a midwest show by a large all-female Japanese promotion "PRIDE FEMALE". In June of 2017, she earned a spot on the touring roster under the name Battle Angel. She would spend three months in the promotion, showcasing her never-say-die attitude. Fans took notice of her endurance. Her matches would often find her down and out for long periods of time before finding her second wind. Her strikes would earn her a reputation for being able to knock out opponents at any given notice. She would return to the United States in September and would continue to work on the indy scene until December, where she would sign with Global Wrestling Division.
