Fans and reporters rally around a small stage with a big WRESTLECON HOLLYWOOD emblem printed on a back drop. Mr. Roerich can be seen seated to the right of the podium waiting patiently as the HOST continues his introduction. The Wrestlecon Hollywood was a way to advertise CWD and all the other smaller promotions around the state of California.
HOST: "Without any further to say, allow me to introduce the first promoter, creator of the former GWD now resides here in Hollywood and is looking to launch his second wave of wrestling on Adult Swim in a matter of weeks, the creator of the California Wrestling Division, let's give it up for Mr. Ethan Roerich!
The crowd gives a round of applause as he rises and steps to the podium. Nigel Astin is seen amongst the reporters with Sullivan Aimes also jotting down notes and pushing the two buttons on the tape recorder. Cameras flash and the DSLR's begin capturing motion graphics just Mr. Roerich clears his throat.
MR. ROERICH: Good evening folks, allow me to make this quick as I know my time is limited here. Global Wrestling Division was a product originally aimed at a global standard of professional wrestling with mostly strong style and high impact action, and after a nice run of shows we discovered that the money was mostly being made in our home state of California.
The fans watching on applaud him and so do the other promoters sitting behind him.
MR. ROERICH: And with the name change and the move, came the championship changes, the Warlord Championship was changed to the California Pride Championship. We feel it will reach out to the demograph a little more, and with us being an independent promotion, we feel it would be best to have our talent to fight for the pride of California! We also changed our Global Heritage Championship, which is held by Kendrick Kross currently to the California Heritage Championship. In honor of our great state we intend to showcase this championship along with a Hollywood Honors Championship in the future, as premier championships within CWD along with the California Pride Championship. Our rebrand was an idea that I fully backed and felt was necessary. The rebrand brought about the first network to want to air us on television and that's a big deal. We hope you tune in to our shows every friday night, we have great priced tickets and we have our home venue, the CWD Warehouse just down the road on Hollywood Boulevard. I hope to see your smiling faces at our events. I'll be taking questions over one of the second stage designated for the Q & A portion of the WrestleCon event.
Mr. Roerich steps away from the podium to a standing ovasion and the next promoter steps up for his introduction from the Host while Roerich takes a seat.
In the crowd, Callahan approaches Aimes and Astin who are reviewing some of the photos they got.
JACK CALLAHAN: How'd it turn out?
SULLIVAN AIMES: We've got some good stuff brewing here! Check out these images!
Sullivan holds the Lumix GH5 out in front of him with his arms stretched and we see Callahan and Astin lean in. Their faces light up with magic. CWD has a bright future with an excellent press team. The three can feel the marketing potential and it brings a smile to all their face. They go back to watching the event and taking notes and pictures as they should be doing. Mr. Roerich sits in his seat looking mildly bored.
FADE TO BLACK.
