Good afternoon from the desk of Knight News, Ltd! It’s been almost a month, but we’re back with more GWD reporting, this time over a three-day festival. The Global Heritage Festival was a smashing success in amount of revenue from sale of tickets, merchandising, and oh yeah, the huge introduction of the second championship, the Global Heritage Championship! The championship was contested between twelve bright prospects over a three day period with the winner being able to lay their claim to being the best at the end of those three days of intense competition! In a series of nights involving the best of the best, we saw …..
I’m sorry. I gotta get this off my chest. After losing her match with Mark Storm, and being told she had a shattered ankle, Britney Anders is now due to sit out her contract at the announce desk? Seriously, who thought this up? It was hard enough to listen to her through a ten minute segment, now we have to listen to her all night? Even worse, we got bushwhacked by three nights of Britney Anders’ voice screeching into our ears over the entirety of the Global Heritage Festival! Ethan Roerich...why do you hate us so much? Warn us next time, don’t bamboozle us with that. Sheesh.
Sorry, everyone. Apologies. Let me stress that the above opinion is not affiliated with Knight News Ltd, it is merely my own personal opinion. Anyway, while this Festival was about the new championship, it wasn’t the only thing on the line. That’s right, I’m talking about the rematch between Chris Crippler and Mark Storm, for the American Justice championship! That’s our night three main event, so we’ll cover that later. Instead, we’ll open up night one with...a greeting from our champion himself, Mark Storm. He says he’s tired of being questioned, his reign assumed to end before it’s destined to, then he goes on to mention that he’s the only reason GWD is in business…
Mark. Listen, buddy. Let me go off the record for a moment and say you’re wrong. You’re not the reason the GWD is in business, every fan that bought a ticket to our shows is why we’re in business. Everyone who bought a Kendrick Kross t-shirt, or a Sammy Duke “joke of the day” calendar. Everyone that cheered on Melody Marshal and Tapioca Joe, everyone that strived to deliver the best show they could deliver. That’s why the GWD is in business. Look, I’m not a fighter, but there is no such thing as a single person bigger than the company. Any company. You think that GWD would suddenly spontaneously combust and cease to exist if you walked out tomorrow? Of course it wouldn’t. The GWD is gonna keep on doing what the GWD does regardless of who holds that title. You may be the American Justice champion, but you’re not a God among men. You say we don’t deserve you? I think you don’t deserve us! And that’s being real with it.
Sorry once again folks, I don’t know what is getting into me today, I feel more opinionated than I usually would allow myself to be. Let’s move on.
Night one, we have several qualifying matches to address, first of which is Melody Marshal securing a big win over the monster Nameless, the monster seems to be slowing down after coming up short in his date to the ball with Sammy. Nevertheless this seems to work out pretty well for Melody as she advances handily.
More bullying from the Dogs of War towards Sammy Duke, the Dogs showing their true colors and disregard for anybody other than themselves. Glad Sammy was unharmed, save for his pride, at least. And Stacy Sterling too??? How bad of a person do you have to be that you beat up Super Stacy? That’s just...wrong. Geez, can’t somebody stop these guys?
Next up is Tony Savage and wrestling’s own professional Lion, Sammy Duke! After a thrilling, captivating twenty five minutes of punishment Sammy endured, Tony couldn’t put him aw...wait. No. Come on, what’s Mark Storm doing out here...no. No...Come on, we’re having a damn match out here! He tossed the title in the ring, oh but good, the official is dealing with him! Sammy, Sweet Shin Music on Tony! Yes, bring it home Sam -- hey. Wait. Sammy was putting the American Justice title out of the ring….Nicole Bender just disqualified Sammy, alledging Sammy used it to hit Tony. Come on! Sammy is pissed! These fans look like they’re gonna riot! Sammy just got screwed and Tony Savage moves on to the semi-finals with more than an assist from the champion Mark Storm………..talk about total disrespect. The Dogs of War don’t care about anybody but themselves. Selfish.
And of course Britney Anders is happy about it. Ugh, my ears are gonna start bleeding if I have to hear more of this…
With Stacy Sterling out of commission, The Titaness Samantha Hamilton approaches Ethan Roerich to learn who will be her replacement opponent. Ethan...almost looked like he was caught off guard, telling her only “be ready to fight tomorrow”. He seemed a bit preoccupied, but I guess that’s pretty understandable. Godspeed Stacy Sterling, and we look forward to Samantha Hamilton’s shot in the Heritage Festival. Here’s to anyone but the Dogs of War advancing.
Broseph advances in the fastest match I ever witnessed next. I didn’t even get to sit down with my Scotch before it was already over. Wow. I uhh...I don’t know what to say. Impressive much?
Next up we come to a 20 minute classic with Kendrick Kross and Equinox, with Kendrick showing a promising ability that, I think, will make this company rich, and make him a lot of money, for years to come.
(Okay guys, this is getting really long, and I got two days more content to cover, so I’m gonna expedite this. If you feel I missed you, glossed over your story too quickly, it’s not intentional and if you’d like you can get with me after and we can do a heads up one on one segment to get you all the coverage you need!)
Tapioca Joe and Melody Marshal having a disagreement...it seems Mel just wanted to leave but Tap, ever vigilant, ever honorable, insisted she stay to watch the backs for the normal people. Aka, not the selfish Dogs of War.
Broseph...working together WITH the Dogs of War? Come on bro…
Jack Owyns gets passed Tapioca Joe to advance, but the big story here is Tap for his age, still looks GOOD in the ring and keeps up with people much younger than him. I don’t know where Roerich found this guy, but he is a true hidden gem in every sense of the phrase.
Advancing to night two we have Melody Marshal, Tony Savage, Samantha Hamilton, Kendrick Kross, Jack Owyns...and newest dishonorable Dog, Broseph.
Tony Savage barely manages to defeat Samantha Hamilton. And by barely, I mean he didn’t “really” beat her since he had to cheat. Combine that with his blatant need for a distraction when he took on Sammy Duke, and I’m beginning to believe this guy actually isn’t very good at all. What a reject.
Speaking of Sammy, even being eliminated from the event he is still here...and he does not look like a happy Lion. He’s out for vengeance, he’s out for Roerich...and he’s out for Mark Storm’s blood! Storm or Riot? Look out, GWD!
Here comes a new challenger! Making their debut at night two, Noah Reigner, he wishes the participants in the Festival “well”, I think, but it was a sarcastic way probably...at any rate, welcome to the company, Noah.
Kendrick Kross defeats Jack Owyns in another classic encounter, to advance towards the title! All this guy does is put on clinic after clinic, I’m convinced Kendrick doesn’t know how to have a bad match. How long has he been wrestling again, I should look that up.
The Battleangel dispatches Broseph...justice, for the Fighting Turtle Gang. That makes our final set, with both Melody and Kendrick of the Fighting Turtle Gang and Tony Savage all alone of the dishonorable Dogs. Was this a triple threat still, or did we just get ourselves a handicap match? Would serve the mates from the pound right, I think.
After a wild 45 minute triple threat, Melody Marshal leaves with the Heritage title! I’m just happy that Tony’s cheating wasn’t rewarded by tainting our new title before it even got off the ground, to be honest. Which goes to show...Tony Savage won two matches by being dishonest, cheating, and downright getting help from his leader Mark Storm, but when he didn’t have the help, he failed to get the job done. Kind of goes to reinforce my feelings after night 2, doesn’t it?
Oy! Who’s that I see? The always scrumptious looking Adi Goldblum with...a message for Brady Vega! Do it bold, do it gold...a message Brady Vega would do well to remember I think. You know what she needs to complement that piece she [allegedly] used on Brady? About another 10 pounds of gold, around her waist. Not that she needs it to be any more beautiful.
After near ninety minutes of wrestling...and I’m exhausted just watching that display...Mark Storm finds a way, somehow, to defeat his long and storied rival, Chris Crippler. God, isn’t there someone that can...save us? Save GWD from Mark Storm? From …
Oh my god he’s here. Sammy Duke, Mark Storm, the Dogs, the Turtle Gang...and you know Sammy wants nothing more than to fight Storm...and now here’s Ethan Roerich!
“You want Mark Storm, you got him...in a tornado tag team match!” Not exactly the way Sammy wanted, but he gets part of his wish, at least. Does this mean Sammy isn’t gonna riot? Almost immediately after night one, Sammy took to social media and campaigned for justice, impartiality, and equality, coining the tag “#StormOrRiot”. It stood for Sammy not being content until Roerich gives him American Justice champion Mark Storm. Which he has now, at our Global Sabotage event...although not for the title, nor one on one. What’s more, if Sammy Duke loses, then he’s obligated to be enslaved by the dishonorable Dogs for two months! I thought we abolished slavery in 1865 when the Emancipation Proclamation freed the slaves following the Civil War??
Anyway, it’s Sammy Duke & Kendrick Kross vs Tony Savage and Mark Storm, and the emotions and tensions are running at an all time high going into this match! So high that I don’t think a ring can contain it all...now if that’s not a recipe for can’t miss TV, I don’t know what is!

On a final note, Ethan Roerich, in this blogger’s opinion, seems to be turning into an angry old man at a young age. Is this the stress of the job getting to him? The bickering, the wars between the dishonorable Dogs and the Fighting Turtle Gang? The weight of a growing company thrust squarely on his shoulders? Who can say. All I can comment on is he appears more and more easily irritable as the days go by.
