“Every story has a beginning, middle and an end”
Chris begins to say in a soft tone of voice. Wearing a custom made maroon suit, waist coat and tie on a burgundy dress shirt. He sits on a black leather office chair with a bright standing lamp shining behind him, nothing else can be seen behind Chris, the only visible thing is a big old book laying across his lap. Chris looks down at the page as he moves his index finger across the page, nodding his head in acknowledgement and glancing at the camera with a look of wonder upon his face, his finger gets to the bottom of the page and Chris sits back looking astonished. Flicking his hair back and smiles coyly as his focus is now on the camera before him.
”A great story is a source of entertainment for all that see or read it to enjoy, especially when you have a relatable protagonist that you all want to be, that can be said of all the stories that you’ve enjoyed reading or sat at the cinema to see.”
Chris sighs fondly.
“I remember going to the cinema to see the original Star Wars trilogy and getting so enthralled by the heroin, Luke Skywalker. Seeing his story unfold from farm hand to Jedi was truly inspiring. Well done young Skywalker. But what makes the journey of this story so amazing is the antagonist. We all know who that is, Darth Vader for those who do not know, the character whose evil actions or motives are important to the plot, the best way to describe him is as ‘The Villain’. .”
He looks at the camera with a sly smile.
“I think we all know where I am going with this. We are heading into the third Global Wrestling Divisions show, Heroes and Monsters, where the main event sees the brand new American Justice Champion defends his newly acquired prize! He is renown in being the ‘Your Hero and Mine”. He is the hero most people want to be as his accomplishments speak for itself. One of only a few men to have achieved the status as both EWC World Heavyweight and Tag Team Champion, going to countless promotions across the world winning title after title as only a true hero can, renown to the Japanese throughout the years as one of their favourite Gaijin in modern era…”
Chris lifts his hand up to recollect what he just said, looking slightly dumbfounded that he’d missed something, suddenly it hits him as he looks dead into the camera to say..
“…I almost forgot. He is a part of the formidable ‘Dogs of War’ trio too.”
Lifting his thumb up satirically.
“When he came to Skyfire Wrestling he had only one agenda on his mind, Mark made a list of wrestlers he wanted to face throughout the year, and one of those names was in Skyfire Wrestling and Mark got his wish by beating Macie. The opportunity to cross a name off but little did he know it would make for a great story. Remember when I said every story has a beginning, middle and an end? Well the first match was the beginning and since that moment the story thickens. And why it has thickened is because every protagonist needs a worthy antagonist and he found one in me! He might be ‘your hero and his own’ but I am ‘the villain he deserves and you!’”
Chris licks the tip of his thumb and flicks the page over.
“Now I’m pretty sure that has been said countless times but deep down inside of you Mark, you know this to be true as we both knew this scenario would play out, that Chris Crippler and Mark Storm would do battle for the GWD American Justice Championship! It was inevitable!
I mean who else can top the marquee? The man who keeps hacking the twitter account of GWD? The lovesick Deacon? The monster made in a warehouse and has no name? Adi Gold? Shrek’s friend Fiona? The starch extract from the cassana root?
No one else in Global Wrestling Division deserves to main event the first show of 2018 more than us! It is the only reason the crowd is paying top dollar to see this event! If it wasn’t for Chris Crippler or Mark Storm then the GWD would have had a ceased and desist letter already! Luckily they do and it is the Hero of GWD versus the scandalous Villain you wish you could replicate but cannot! I am the original villain!”
Glaring at the camera with a look of intent.
“Maybe I should be phrasing it as I am going to be the behemoth of you, Mark, to match the title of the event as you being the hero and me being the monster and to be fair I am a swine and a bastard but legacies aren’t made by monsters. Monsters prove to be a threat and can be deadly but this isn’t Godzilla. They made by heroes and villains and this match is exactly that! You defined me as being the experienced and have had a career as long as you have lived, which is accurate as I’ve had a thirty plus career, that you’re the face this promotion needs leading it forward which is probably true, and you being the first American Justice Champion will never be etched out of the promotions history. But a first will happen in our match, Mark, that I will defeat you! The times in Skyfire, recently in GWD and GOL, but every bad guy always gets its day no matter how big or small a victory, Chris Crippler will defeat you Mark Storm and take the championship too!
History cannot be rewritten but can be made!
You may be a global sensation appearing for the CWC Japan Legacy, recently in 4CW, appearing in Fable Town on the Evolve Network, FGA, Kamikaze Pro.. I’m pretty sure I’m missing a fair few but when you say Global you are a global star. Whenever they mention the name ‘Mark Storm’ people either remember you for your brilliance or remember your failings and countless promotions you appear in. I too was like you when it came to Skyfire, I went to a tournament in GOL in Mexico and tried to become GPC World Champion for New Japan Fighting Championship, I represented Skyfire Wrestling to the best of my abilities. You want to do that for GWD and I applaud you but who says I wouldn’t do what I did before, now? I’m going to be challenging for the GOL Rey de Reyes Championship, I’ll be looking to take the GWD American Justice Championship with me to show Roxi Johnson just who I am, I’ll be wrestling on the final SCW show against Spike Staggs.. I want to show the world that GWD is the place to be! And I am the champion people want to see and the champion this promotion needs me to be!”
Chris smirks as he looks down at the book once more and rests his hand on the page.
”Remember I said that a story has a beginning, middle and end.. Our story is far from over. But the story of you being the American Justice Champion will come to the most dramatic of ends. Heroes fall and the villain will rise!

Chris Crippler points to the book as the camera zooms in onto the page, he tapes the page with the tip of his index finger before moving his hand away, the camera shows that on the page is written..
