Clearing my mind
Equinox still remembers looking down at Kendrick and smiling at the image as he dove down onto Kendrick with a Dark Kingdom sending him & Nox through a car. The height of the Dark Kingdom was a two story building or so it looked like from the tapes. He was sore and he’d continue to be sore with every mach he’d had since then. He is seen sitting on the beach watching his kids play on the beach and next to his fiancé Holli. Alots on his mind particularly wrestling clinic 4 in the two vs three handicap match. A camcorder is not to far away recording.
“Two weeks ago we tore eachother apart to a draw. Saw me do my thing as I threw caution to the wind and deliver at least one promise to Kendrick. While I didn’t win, neither did he. In fact he is surely feeling the effects of that epic dark kingdom. So what if I didn’t win, I made him realize I am not someone to underestimate. I’d be lying if I didn’t say my left shoulder needs some championship gold on it real soon.”
Nox taps on his left shoulder
“I’ve heard all this bullshit spew from Kendrick for months and it’s laughable it really is. He beat me in my first match in CWD. Used underhanded tactics to beat Melody. Then followed through with tag matches. But now he’s in for a rude awakening.”
Nox chuckles
“So we’re having a last man standing and before that we’ll have some handicap situation. I could say I am going to beat him. But really the odds are against him and Samantha. Myself, Maki and Melody. Either way he gets beat which is fine by me.”
Nox grins at the thought of this
“See Kendrick really thinks he’s got me figured out. He feels he’s the best when he has not done anything outside worth noting. Sure he’s still Heritage champion but that can and will change. You see even if by some luck he makes it past me. He gets Melody Marshall and either way his fate is sealed. It eats at me he claims he made me accomplish the wins I have here and managed to be in that main event title match not but a few weeks ago. When it reality he never could be doing what I have. See Kendrick all you do is claim you’ve made people do this and that. I’ve heard nothing but talk. Action sometimes, because deep down your not unbeatable and I am going to prove it one way or another. Soon I will prove it bit for now but for now I got to focus on my family.”
Nox taps his chin realizing he forgot someone
“Samantha Hamilton. Someone I still respect after the war we went through. I know what your capable of you aren’t my concern. I have to focus on making Kendrick hurt yet again. As I stated before now’s time with my family. See ya soon CWD."
SCENE END
Nox is seen in facepaint of Purple and Yellow on a large building in New York city getting into his comfort zone he’s got to focus on his next CWD match.
“The wrestling world is a funny place. Because no matter what kind of performance you bring in the world, you’ll always have someone underestimating you. Thing is in CWD people see me as one of two things. Either I am risk taking friend of theirs who just loves giving the fans a show. Or I am some kind of cat everyone talks shit about and doubts. Which is it to me? Really, if I am honest with myself it’s both.”
Slight pause
“I’ve never been the kind of guy to quit a place just because I wasn’t getting the right push. Because CWD never has done that to me. Who can say in two soon to be three shows they’ve main evented. Not many, except me and Kendrick. I haven’t quit, I haven’t stomped my feet like an angry child and demanded a rematch. Instead got told because of the performance I put on with Kendrick got told we do the dance one more time in a few more weeks. But for now I test myself in the ways of the Republic Division. I will continue to do so in pushing my own limits. I will not waver from the potential win over Kendrick because I know I can do it. I know once I beat him that I can beat Melody…”
Another slight pause
“People will talk about our future match like they did the last one. But my focus is teaming with Melody Marshall the former Heritage Champion. I know she is tough and I know she has an ego. I damn well know she thinks she’s hot shit but she hasn’t seen Maki or I in the ring at our best. Because outside companies don’t matter in CWD as they say. Personally Melody if it makes you feel better, I’d never even heard of you until you even joined CWD. Why did you leave? Why did you come back? I don’t have to read your article because when I beat Kendrick down the road I’ll see you sooner or later.”
Nox pauses
“That brings me to Maki. Maki is a fighter, a woman of many talents and accolades. Though we are in different stables I love her like a sister. She’s had two matches here against me and won both times. Ya I know what happened. I didn’t take the fall. She beat someone else the first time. Then the second I got screwed by Kendrick when I was so close to becoming Pride Champion. Maki you know I love ya and you know I will fight with you and against you until the end of time.….”
Nox chuckles
“See I know we all expect Brittney to show up. It’s the natural order of things you know. She does and I wrap her in barbed wire. I will keep my promise about that rest assured. Fear not because my focus is defeating both Samantha Hamilton who I consider a worthy opponent and friend. I will beat Kendrick down the line or perhaps sooner than later. I refuse to be a face in the crowd any longer….so CWD roster keep doubting me.”
He flashes a warm smile before continuing
“You know I respect everyone I come in contact with in that ring until they piss me off other wise. So Kendrick you doubt me and you’ve pissed me off. Your mistake, I assure you. Yea, I’ve heard it befoe you’ll never ever beat me…that jazz is getting old. But it in turn motivates me. When I step in the ring, when the bell goes off I change. So come this match you and Samantha are going see a whole new side of Nox…”
Nox smirks
“To my partners in this match. Maki, You know what I’m like and you know I won’t back down from a fight so have my back out there and I’ll do the same. To Melody I look forward to seeing what you bring. But to Samantha, Maki and Melody….simply put…”
Nox chuckles

“June 13th, we’re all expected to put on one hell of a show. I couldn’t be more ready to give the High Fliers a show. Truly when this match goes under way and the bell rings we’ll give them something to talk about. We all love to fight….welcome to wayward dreams.”
