Kendrick is still feeling the effects of the street fight from two weeks ago, it’s not like they were going to go away. He is sitting in his office chair, his feet perched up on the desk as always, though this time with a bit more discomfort than normal.
Two weeks ago was hell...I’d be lying if I told you it wasn’t but Equinox would be lying if he told you it wasn’t hell, or that he didn’t fail. You see...I am still the Heritage Champion, yeah, sure, I didn’t technically win, but I still have the title am I right? Equinox though, while he may not have lost, he didn’t win which means he didn’t get this title that I possess.
Kendrick taps on the Heritage title that is conveniently draped over his shoulder.
He can’t use the excuse that I didn’t do it on my own either, I did everything on my own, I do everything on my own, win matches, win titles. Equinox is going to want to act all tough, like he is going to take everything I love and possess away from me, like he can actually step up to me. That’s laughable.
Kendrick chuckles a bit before repositioning the title.
This handicap match we have this week is a pathetic move and a half hearted attempt to try to put me on the shelf. It’s obvious that’s what they want. They want me to get injured or leave the CWD so they can have this title on the waist of someone else, someone like you probably. The problem with that? It ain’t going to happen. I’ll be damned if a pathetic, half hearted person like yourself can do anything. You said you were going to beat me, that you would show me that the first time was a fluke. Did it happen? No. Just like you being able to pin me this week won’t happen.
Kendrick grins at the thought of his next opponent. He laughs a bit but catches himself and takes a quick breath.
Maki...Daniella…whatever the fuck you call yourself or are. The person who says they’re the face of the company, the franchise, the one who thinks you are the reason they come to CWD. That’s a false assumption dear. You came to CWD on the curtails of Storms success. You came here thinking you were just going to dominate the CWD...sure, you’ve picked up some wins, you are the champion, but dominate? I don’t think so. Dominance is what I am, 8-1. That one loss was to the woman I put on the shelf who just happens to be in the match as well, I’ll get to her soon enough.

Now…..it’s time for the main attraction. The person who I so anxiously wondered would ever step foot back into a CWD ring. Here she is though, running back to save the day, to try to do what Nox won’t be able to do in two weeks, beat me for this title.

The last person who held it was you, Melody Marshall. The person who I took it from is you, and I’ve taken you out of the record books. I’ve held this title for 70 days now, 15 longer than you had it for. How does it make you feel? Knowing that I not only put you out of action with that knee bar of mine, but I also took you out of the record books. It must sting for you Melody. Knowing that you are almost written out of the books. The one thing you have and will always have is you were the Inaugural champion. Way to go. That doesn’t matter though if you lose it. Your title reign doesn’t matter, why? Because you don’t matter. You won’t matter, you’ll lose this match and you’ll realize that someone like you, a weak minded, weak bodied, just an overall weak person can’t stand in the ring with someone like Kendrick Kross.

But my plan is to keep this title...and I’ll do that in the last man standing match. But this is about the tag match this week...which The Titaness and myself will win. Don’t believe me?
