Ever since he was announced for this tournament people booked in this tournament have been doing one thing doubt yours truly. He has done a lot in this business. Been around the block a time or two. But never in a million years did he ever have think he’d be in a tournament with so many different kinds of people.
He decided to go to a different route this time because Nox needed to get a point across. He was up in the bleachers watching the show be placed up at the Coliseum here in Los Angeles, CA. He looks down at the tiny folks all setting it up and smiling. He was in his comfort zone as he’s off the ground just the way he likes it. The High Fliers would fly with him soon enough. He had his camcorder on him and he’d hit the recorder button as it made a loud [BEEP]
Equinox: "The GWD Heritage Festival tonight. Twelve of the best going at it to call themselves champion.”
He looks down at the ground as he’s very high up. He loves it up here and can’t wait to show the world just how high he can go.
“Now while I have Kendrick Kross and that will be a fight. I also have to focus on those after this match up if I advance. First up is some guy named Broseph and I hear not only is he looking past me. BUT he thinks he’ll win this. Sorry but IF Tampico Joe can beat you rest assured I can too. I aim to look forward to the chance to kick your ass on this night."
Nox nodded his head. Joe was someone he wanted to fight in the future.
Equinox: "Tampico Joe someone I want to fight. Someone I respect. Someone who’s already technically a champion and I am glad about that. Jack Owyns is someone I have seen through many other companies, I think EOW was one place. He’s another guy I want to face. Both of these folks have my respect but I hope I can get theirs.”
He chuckles
“We also have Melody Marshall. I don’t know much about her and I ain’t gonna say I don’t care. I am not going to doubt she can beat me. Because anything can happen here in GWD. But I will tell you this she can’t fly high like I can and I am VERY hard to catch off guard. I can promise you that.”
Nox looks out towards the down row envisioning were all the loyal High Fliers will be. He looks forward to putting on a show for them. Their why he is here. Well one of the reasons.
Nox: "We also have Samantha Hamilton. I don’t know much about her and I am sure I will learn real quick whom she is. All I can really say is good luck to ya.
Nox cups one of his ears trying to listen for some tiny invisible voice that may answer him. He can almost hear the fans shouting “HighSpot Hero”
“My daughter is one years old not too long ago and she loves watching daddy wrestle. One person she’s watched wrestle at one point or another. I thank you for giving her something to look forward to in that ring other than me. Stacy it would be an honor to face you.”
He takes a moment to breath
“Now that brings me to my son. See my son saw Nameless vs. Sammy Duke in that Monsters Ball. Nameless scared him a bit and for that I told him Daddy would fight him sometime down the road. But ya see that’s when he saw his hero Sammy Duke win that match. Sammy you’re an inspiration to my son and I thank you for that.”
It was hard for Nox to come with something more to say about these folks because he is just sinking his teeth into the chance to fight them one by one.
Nox: "Sammy it’s no secret we’re somewhat friends and I told management backstage I wanted to fight you in the finals. So if I have to beat everyone else in order to put on the best show possible for the crowd & my son so be it.”
Nox hasn't got much else left to say as he continues to speak.
Equinox: "This tournament could spark up new opportunities for us all when it comes to this tournament. Wins & losses matter. But I promise you all by the end of it I will walk out a champion. I will make History. By the end of the night you'll never doubt me again. When you hear my music hit you’ll hear the words SEEK ME, CALL ME, I’ll BE WAITING & by the end of the night I’ll be a champion. Welcome to Wayward Dreams."
